Saturday looked like it was going to be a great day. We had to return our rental van to Enterprise at the Dulles Airport before 1pm so we decided that we would head to the National Air and Space museum at Dulles before lunch, then head over. We had been there before so the kids were excited because they knew what to expect. It didn't disappoint! We even got to see some new things.

The best part, at least for me, was seeing this:
That's the Discovery that was just flown up there a few months ago. I was doubtful that we would see it, figuring it hadn't been enough time for them to get it ready and bring it in. I was wrong and very excited to see her there.
Of course, my excitement was short lived when we got to Enterprise. We were supposed to be trading in our van for another, or perhaps just renewing paperwork on the present van. Really, we needed a new one because the Florida plates that were on there were expiring in 2 days and we didn't want the Falls Church Police writing us any tickets. We returned the van with no problems but getting a new one turned out to be a headache. At first we were told that they had no reservation for us and that spurred a phone call to the Ft. Lauderdale Enterprise to do their part. After waiting for about an hour for them to put the reservation in I prompted Ben to call again. This time we were able to get the previously reluctant to deal with it manager involved and found out that we were on some sort of Month-and-more plan where we weren't supposed to turn in the old van, we didn't even have to bring it in at all (except for the tag issue). So we ended up sitting there for almost 2 hours for no reason.
