Another trip to Koh Kret.....the field kind!

Andy had his 1st field trip at ISB today. We went to the island of Koh Kret and learned about the pottery that they make there. I had visited the island before, (you can read about it here) but that trip didn't include lots of 6 year olds and sticky humidity. Luckily, for the kids, I was only responsible for my child and one other. I'm sure his teacher thought I was crazy when she had to wrangle the other guy a couple of times when I stopped to take a picture or two.

Here's how it went...
*Disclaimer - I do NOT like the way my pictures turned out! I am in the process of learning how to use my DSLR camera on any mode other than AUTO. It's a work in process. Please don't think that I take bad pictures all of the time.

The water line from the flood last year is higher than he is tall.

Checking out the inside of the now abandoned kiln. It was ruined in the flood.

showing off his buffalo "poo-ing" drawing. Apparently it makes for a better quality clay.
