New Car

So we got the car. A 2007 Pontiac Solstice. 2-seater convertible, manual transmission (so it's super fun to drive). I still can't believe this went through. I really hope this helps us out financially in the long run.
Ben loves his car. Complained about having to move the seat back and change the radio station when he got in it to go to work yesterday. Waaahhh! Poor baby! He spent about a week looking at sites online about Solstices. I think the newness is starting to wear off now, he is back to looking for a condo in FL.

I will admit that it IS fun to drive, Andy and I have taken it out to the store during the week a few times. He loves it. The kids call the car "Jazz" because there was a solstice in TransFormers named Jazz.

June is finally here.

So, everyone seems to be feeling better now (knock on wood). FINALLY!
Ben has made up his mind that we are trading the mini-van for a sports car for him. He is looking at a Pontiac Solstice at CarMax. I think we are driving out there tomorrow to finalize it. He had this particular car transferred from another CarMax location so I am assuming this is the one he will choose. I don't mind but I do. At first the idea was to just get rid of the van because little things were starting to break and we wanted out before something big breaks. Also the idea was to lower our monthly payments. Guess thhat is out the door now...

Sick and Tired!

I am SOOOOOO tired of sick people! Ellie had Strept again last week and then Andy threw up on the same day. Took her to the doctor and got a different ABX this time. Andy was seen too but he just had a viral thing (typical in our house). So Ellie and Andy were better. My ears started hurting a few days after Ellie went to the Dr. A sore throat came a few days later too. I might have had strept too but couldn't tell you. I think I had an ear infection that I still have. Haven't gone to the Dr. Not sure if I will. It seems to be getting better all be it very slowly. I woke up earlier this week not able to talk because everything was so sore. I have a horrible cough and earache. I have some leftover medicine for cough but it doesn't really help.
Andy got sick again this week too. He threw up in the bank of all places while we were getting some papers notarized. It was all over the two of us. Gross! We didn't eat lunch out that day as we planned, just came home and did laundry. He barely had a fever later in the day but has been fine since. Benny has a runny nose and cough again. I am sure that someone else will have it tomorrow. I just wish we could get rid of it. I'm so tired of it. Ben complained that he had a bad headache the other day too, probably sinus related! UGGHH!
